Amanda and I just want to say how amazing everything was, from the food, to the set up and your staff – just amazing! A very significant day for us and you all made it that much more special. So thank you. As it turns out, we have another significant celebration coming up in July – Addie’s 1st birthday. Although we are still early into the planning stages, using Aston Norwood again is high on the preference list – assuming you’re not already booked…

Cheers Willie

Thanks for the invoice for our Serendipity Garden group outing on Monday. Your service, scones and scenery (the garden) were all top notch; we all enjoyed the visit so much that we will put it on our calendar for a spring visit and we will certainly tell others what they are missing.

Thanks again – Gai Kidd/Treasurer Serendipity.

Thank you for the flyer regarding your seniors ‘Roasts’ also the 2 for 1 offer cards for walking the garden, I have done this and it certainly is very beautiful and peaceful. I will distribute the cards and information at our next meeting in April.  Thank you also for looking after us all so well yesterday while celebrating the 25th Anniversary celebrations of the founding of our club. We really appreciate the care given by your serving staff to our less agile members while choosing their meals.  I am sure I speak for all our members in saying that the venue was just lovely with a relaxing ambience and the food was delicious.

Many thanks to you and your staff Carol Inge – Secretary Stokes Valley Friendship Club

Visited the Aston Norwood Gardens Cafe in Kaitoke (Upper Hutt) yesterday (1/3/17), on our way to Wairarapa for a coffee and a scone and a bit of a break in our drive before the Rimutakas and what a surprise! We were welcomed by pleasant smiles from a young man and a young lady (later we found out she is the owners’ daughter) and after the usual pleasantries, we ordered our coffees and our great looking, good size, cheese & onion scones. We chose to seat outside of the actual cafe, just before the walkway to the gardens as it was a superb morning; lovely coffee, tasty and fulfilling scones and truly, service with a smile! We were so impressed that on leaving we said that we would stop again on our way back the following day for lunch. As it happened, we ended up returning home that same night to our Wellington home but we were so impressed by the friendly, yet efficient service we received plus excellent coffee and food that we chose to drive the very next day (today, 2/3/17) from Seatoun to Kaitoke for lunch … and it was worth it!!! We ordered the “fish & chips” plus our usual coffees but what we were served, was two perfectly fried crampted fillets of tarakihi resting on crispy potato chips over a bed of garden salad – it was a real treat! When we expressed our appreciation of the service we received and the excellent quality of our meals, we discovered that we were actually talking to the owners of the business and then we realised … why everything was so lovely in this new business! Well done, Belinda and team and we wish you every success for the future because you deserve it!
